At Studently, we strive to create a safe, fair and transparent community for both students and landlords. To ensure this, we ask all users to adhere to the guidelines below.

By using the platform, you agree to these community guidelines.


🤝 1. Respectful communication

We expect all users to treat one another with respect.

You are not permitted to:

  • Using offensive or discriminatory language

  • to make threats

  • to engage in intimidating or inappropriate behaviour

Professional and respectful communication enhances the quality of our platform.


🏠 2. Honest and accurate information

Verhuurders dienen:

  • To provide accurate and up-to-date property information

  • To be transparent about rent and additional costs

  • Do not use misleading photos or descriptions

Students must:

  • To provide accurate personal information

  • Do not upload any false documents

  • Not to make misleading statements


💳 3. No payments outside the platform

To ensure safety:

  • Are payments for applications processed exclusively via Studently?

  • Is it not advisable to transfer money in advance outside the platform?

Requests for payment made outside the platform must be reported immediately.


🚫 4. Prohibited activities

You are not permitted to:

  • to carry out fraudulent activities

  • Creating fake accounts

  • Copying or misusing property information

  • Sending spam or unsolicited messages

  • Circumventing technical security measures

Violations may result in immediate account suspension.


🔒 5. Privacy and data protection

Please respect the privacy of other users.

It is prohibited to:

  • Sharing personal data without consent

  • Data to be used for commercial purposes outside Studently

All users must comply with the applicable privacy legislation.


⚖️ 6. Disputes and complaints

If you suspect fraud or misuse:

  • Please use the reporting system

  • Provide clear information and evidence

Studently reserves the right to take appropriate action, including suspending or deleting accounts.


🌍 7. Shared responsibility

Studently is a community platform. This means that safety and reliability are a shared responsibility.

By acting honestly, transparently and respectfully, you help to create a better experience for everyone.


✅ Enforcement

If these guidelines are breached, Studently may:

  • Issue warnings

  • Delete content

  • Block accounts temporarily or permanently

The situation is always carefully assessed before any action is taken.
