At Studently, we take security and transparency very seriously. If you suspect fraud, misuse or misleading information, you can report this via our dispute resolution system.

We investigate every report thoroughly.


When do you need to submit a report?

You can report a case of fraud if:

  • A landlord provides incorrect or misleading information

  • You are being asked to make payments outside the platform

  • There is suspicious communication

  • A user impersonates someone else

  • You suspect that a property is not legitimate

How does the dispute resolution system work?

Studently uses a ticket-based reporting system.

Step 1 – Submit a report

Please complete the reporting form via the contact page and select “Report fraud”.

Step 2 – Describe the problem

Please state as clearly as possible:

  • Which property is involved?

  • The date of the incident

  • The user in question

  • A description of the situation

If possible, please provide supporting evidence (such as screenshots or emails).

Step 3 – Research by Studently

Once we have received your report:

  • We will record your report as a ticket

  • Let’s look into the situation

  • We will contact both parties if necessary


 
Resolution Period

We aim to respond within two working days.

Complex situations may take longer to resolve.


What can Studently do?

Depending on the situation, we can:

  • Temporarily suspend an account

  • Remove a property

  • Block a user permanently

  • Take further action if required by law

Please note: Studently is not a legal intermediary and cannot make binding decisions regarding tenancy agreements.


Confidentiality

All reports are treated in confidence. Your personal data will be used solely for the purpose of investigating the report.
