Noordereiland (Nort Island), an unique neighborhood situated in the Maas River, which history dates back to the 17th century when it was developed as a port and industrial area. Surrounded by water on all sides, it’s not an actual island; there is a narrow strip of land connecting to the mainland. The ‘island’ is also known for its stunning views of the Rotterdam skyline and features characterized historic buildings, old warehouses, and cobblestone streets. Many of these buildings have been repurposed into trendy apartments, studios, restaurants, and cafes, giving the area a vibrant and artistic atmosphere.
Lay out
Ground floor: entrance at street level with doorbell and letterbox. Via the communal front door you enter the long hallway which provides access to various rooms. Let’s start with the living area which is very spacious; here you have many options here to make this unfurnished space cozy: for example you can place a spacious sofa, coffee table, a comfortable armchair and a TV with furniture.
