Studently makes finding student accommodation in the Netherlands easier, more transparent and more efficient. Our platform connects students with landlords via a clear and secure application process.

Here we explain step by step how it works.

Step 1 – Search via the Map

On Studently, you’ll find available properties clearly displayed on an interactive map.

You can:

  • Zoom in on specific cities or neighbourhoods

  • View properties available immediately

  • Compare locations and prices

  • View details for each property

The map helps you make the right choice more quickly based on location and budget.

Step 2 – View Property Details

Each property page includes:

  • Photos

  • Description

  • Rental price

  • Location

  • Information about the landlord

This will enable you to make an informed decision before submitting your application.

Step 3 – Pay with Credits for the Application to be sent

To apply for a specific property, you will need to pay an application fee.

Important:

  • The payment applies per property

  • You only pay if you actually want to reply

  • No subscription is required

Once payment has been made, you will immediately have access to the application form for that property.

Step 4 – Submit Application

Once payment has been made, you can:

  • Please fill in your details

  • Send a personal message

  • Add any additional information

Your application will then be forwarded directly to the landlord or estate agent.

Step 5 – Response from the Landlord

The landlord will review your application and contact you directly.

  • Studently does not guarantee acceptance

  • The final decision rests with the landlord
