At Studently, we take security and transparency very seriously. If you suspect fraud, misuse or misleading information, you can report this via our dispute resolution system.<\/p>

We investigate every report thoroughly.<\/p>

When do you need to submit a report?<\/h5>

You can report a case of fraud if:<\/p>

  • A landlord provides incorrect or misleading information<\/p><\/li>

  • You are being asked to make payments outside the platform<\/p><\/li>

  • There is suspicious communication<\/p><\/li>

  • A user impersonates someone else<\/p><\/li>

  • You suspect that a property is not legitimate<\/p><\/li><\/ul>

    If you\u2019re unsure, please don\u2019t hesitate to contact us.<\/p>

    How does the dispute resolution system work?<\/h6>

    Studently uses a ticket-based reporting system.<\/p>

    Step 1 \u2013 Submit a report<\/h6>

    Please complete the reporting form via the contact page and select \u201cReport fraud\u201d.<\/p>

    Step 2 \u2013 Describe the problem<\/h6>

    Please state as clearly as possible:<\/p>

    • Which property is involved?<\/p><\/li>

    • The date of the incident<\/p><\/li>

    • The user in question<\/p><\/li>

    • A description of the situation<\/p><\/li><\/ul>

      If possible, please provide supporting evidence (such as screenshots or emails).<\/p>

      Step 3 \u2013 Research by Studently<\/h6>

      Once we have received your report:<\/p>

      • We will record your report as a ticket<\/p><\/li>

      • Let\u2019s look into the situation<\/p><\/li>

      • We will contact both parties if necessary<\/p><\/li><\/ul>

        Resolution Period<\/h5>

        We aim to respond within two working days.<\/p>

        Complex situations may take longer to resolve.<\/p>

        What can Studently do?<\/h5>

        Depending on the situation, we can:<\/p>

        • Temporarily suspend an account<\/p><\/li>

        • Remove a property<\/p><\/li>

        • Block a user permanently<\/p><\/li>

        • Take further action if required by law<\/p><\/li><\/ul>

          Please note: Studently is not a legal intermediary and cannot make binding decisions regarding tenancy agreements.<\/p>

          All reports are treated in confidence. Your personal data will be used solely for the purpose of investigating the report.<\/p>
