Welcome to Studently. By using this website and the services offered, you agree to these terms of use. Please read these terms carefully before using the platform.<\/span><\/span><\/p>

1. Applicability<\/span><\/span><\/h5>

These terms of use apply to all visitors, registered users, students, and landlords who use the Studently platform.<\/span><\/span><\/p>

By means of:<\/span><\/span><\/p>

  • To create an account<\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

  • To place a house<\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

  • To submit an application<\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

  • To make a payment<\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li><\/ul>

    You declare that you agree to these terms and conditions.<\/span><\/span><\/p>

    2. Purpose of the platform<\/span><\/span><\/h5>

    Studently is an online platform that connects students in the Netherlands with landlords and real estate agents offering accommodation.<\/span><\/span><\/p>

    Studently:<\/span><\/span><\/p>

    • Publishes housing listings<\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

    • Offers students the opportunity to respond to specific properties for a fee<\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

    • Forwards student requests to landlords<\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li><\/ul>

      Studently does not own the properties offered and does not act as a landlord or intermediary in the conclusion of rental agreements.<\/span><\/span><\/p>

      3. Account registration<\/span><\/span><\/h5>

      Registration is required for certain features of the platform.<\/span><\/span><\/p>

      Users are responsible for:<\/span><\/span><\/p>

      • Providing correct and up-to-date information<\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

      • Keeping their login details confidential<\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

      • All activities that take place via their account<\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li><\/ul>

        Studently reserves the right to suspend or delete accounts in case of abuse, fraud, or violation of these terms.<\/span><\/span><\/p>

        4. Payments and reimbursements<\/span><\/span><\/h5>

        To respond to a housing offer, a student must pay a fee.<\/span><\/span><\/p>

        Key points:<\/span><\/span><\/p>

        • The payment applies per home<\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

        • Payment does not guarantee acceptance<\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

        • Payments are non-refundable<\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li><\/ul>

          All prices are shown in euros (\u20ac) and are subject to change without prior notice.<\/span><\/span><\/p>

          5. No guarantee of accommodation<\/span><\/span><\/h5>

          Studently does not guarantee that:<\/span><\/span><\/p>

          • An application is accepted<\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

          • A home remains available<\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

          • A rental agreement is concluded<\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li><\/ul>

            The final decision rests entirely with the landlord or real estate agent.<\/span><\/span><\/p>

            6. Responsibility of landlords<\/span><\/span><\/h5>

            Landlords and real estate agents are responsible for:<\/span><\/span><\/p>

            • The accuracy of the provided property information<\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

            • The availability of the property<\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

            • Compliance with applicable Dutch laws and regulations<\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li><\/ul>

              Studently is not liable for incorrect, incomplete, or misleading information provided by landlords.<\/span><\/span><\/p>

              7. Prohibited use<\/span><\/span><\/h5>

              It is not permitted to use the platform for:<\/span><\/span><\/p>

              • Providing incorrect or misleading information<\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

              • Fraudulent activities<\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

              • Sending spam or unwanted communication<\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

              • Bypassing security measures<\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li><\/ul>

                In the event of a violation, the account may be terminated without prior warning.<\/span><\/span><\/p>

                8. Liability<\/span><\/span><\/h5>

                Studently is not liable for:<\/span><\/span><\/p>

                • Damage arising from lease agreements<\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

                • Financial losses<\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

                • Disputes between students and landlords<\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

                • Technical malfunctions or temporary unavailability of the website<\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li><\/ul>

                  Use of the platform is entirely at your own risk.<\/span><\/span><\/p>

                  9. Intellectual property<\/span><\/span><\/h5>

                  All content on the website, including but not limited to:<\/span><\/span><\/p>

                  • Texts<\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

                  • Designs<\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

                  • Logos<\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

                  • Software<\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

                  • Structure of the platform<\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li><\/ul>

                    is the property of Studently and may not be copied, distributed, or used commercially without prior written permission.<\/span><\/span><\/p>

                    10. Amendments to the terms and conditions<\/span><\/span><\/h5>

                    Studently reserves the right to modify these terms of use at any time.<\/span><\/span><\/p>

                    The most recent version is always available on this page.<\/span><\/span><\/p>

                    These terms of use are governed by Dutch law.<\/span><\/span><\/p>

                    Any disputes shall be submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands.<\/span><\/span><\/p>
